Ephesians 2:8 says, “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God”
We praise the Lord for what He is doing in Pakistan through the School of Christ. We just finished a video School of Christ at the Assemblies of God Bible School in Quetta City with more than forty student in attendance, coming from all areas of Pakistan.
One student said, “ There was such a need in our lives, and we began to pray for the Lord to give us direction. The Lord answered our prayer with the teaching of the School of Christ. We learned to pray and listen to God. Before SOC, some of the students had never prayed. Some just prayed for a few minutes a day. Now, after listening to the School of Christ teachings, the Holy Spirit has touched our lives and everything has changed.”
One day during the School, the students were unable to eat their lunches because there was such a burden to pray, and the prayer meeting lasted hours and hours. A prophecy came forth and many were moved and blessed. One person in attendance said he didn’t believe in God because God never speaks. After the prophecy, the Holy Spirit touched his life and he repented and gave his life completely to Jesus. Another lady student had breast cancer, and said she had not told anyone. After she heard the Word of God, she came forward for prayer. The Lord touched her life and she was healed.
In an open air meeting many people were saved. One man, when he heard the Gospel, cried bitterly, “I don’t want to die in sin!” He and his family were wonderfully saved. I praise God for the many testimonies. This is what one student said, “Like Job first we hear about Him, and now we see Him with our own eyes.”
