Description

Taken from Hebrews 10:7 “Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God”. It is the loss of true commitment that has rendered the Church ineffective in the world. Zion no longer travails at the altar and as a result, souls are not birthed into the kingdom, there is no commitment to God’s plan and purpose for His Church.

Commitment is enduring, but because the Church loves pleasure more than truth, she has become spiritually anemic. The first century Church “loved not their lives unto death”. They were committed to the cause of Christ and proved their commitment with their very lives. The writer of Hebrews rebukes the modern day Church when he said, “Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin”. It is the love of sin that defeats true commitment unto God.

Christ is returning for a Church without spot or wrinkle, a Church committed totally to Him. Choose you this day whom you will serve, and then commit to that choice, if need be, even unto death.
