This great message was taken from II Kings 4:2-7, the story of Elisha and the widow with the pot of oil. A message filled with types and the glorious hope of God through the Holy Spirit meeting every need.

“Elisha (a type of God) said unto her, What shall I do for thee?… she said, Thine handmaid hath not any thing in the house, save a pot of oil (a type of the Holy Spirit).” The widow women did not even realize that everything she needed was already in the house and though it may seem small, little is much in God’s hands.

Pastor Clendennen shows how the Christian must count on the supply that has not yet appeared, yet is there in abundance, just as the oil that filled every vessel in the house, that the widow might pay her debts and live off the rest. “Give it all” Pastor Clendennen said, “And the oil will never stop flowing”.

Everything we need is in Christ, we are complete in him. (Colossians 2:10) We need not look further, nor lean upon the arm of the flesh, Christ alone is the provider for them that walk with Him and wait upon Him.
