My name is Susana Córdoba, and I am from Monte Caseros, province of Corrientes. I was a student of the School of Christ Online School in Argentina. I wanted to share what happened while we watched one of the lessons concerning tithes in the Stewardship series.
My family and I were going through difficult financial times. We couldn’t get out of debt. I would get my salary deposited, and the bank immediately took out what we owed. Before we realized it, we barely had any money left, so we didn’t tithe as we should. When I started reading the lesson, God showed me we were doing wrong, so I broke and prayed and asked for forgiveness. I told my husband about what I read, and he felt like me, a miserable thief in the eyes of God. We decided to separate the tithes first, and we would pay what we could with the rest. A few days after doing the right thing, God surprises us with several extra jobs for my husband. I helped him as much as possible because they were heavy tasks, so we started making more income to the point where we could pay our debts. He is still receiving these extra job requests. God showed us that with obedience come blessings. I’m thankful to Him because He exhorts us in due time and in His own way, always showing love and mercy to His children.
