November Mission Message

  Robert Turnage – SOC President

We live in a world of mostly lost souls. Jesus said in Luke 19:10, “For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.” It is not the Will of God for men to perish, and because of the Work of the Son of God they should not have to perish. This is where the ministry and the call of God upon His people and the fruit of the Life and Work of Jesus Christ are joined.

There was a time in the church when people spoke of and ministers preached about “having a burden.” That is no longer preached or experienced. (God forgive us and please restore this holy experience.) The burden for souls is a spiritual matter. The Bible dictionary defines a burden as “…a burden which must be carried by the individual, i.e. as something personal and hence is not transferable, i.e. it cannot be shifted to someone else.”

I speak to you who are a spiritual people because you understand the meaning of these words. Can I implore you to regain that sanctified place with God where you are totally consumed in prayer, travailing for people who are separated from God.

Solomon said in Proverbs 11:30, “…he that winneth souls is wise.” And the Psalmist David said in Psalm 126:6, “He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.”

Many people do not realize what true joy and glory will be when we see Jesus. Paul tells us exactly what it will be in 1 Thessalonians 2:19-20. There he says, “For who is our hope or joy or crown of exultation? Is it not even you, in the presence of our Lord Jesus at His coming? For you are our glory and joy.”

Everyone who works for, supports, or contributes to the ministry of the School of Christ International has one purpose for our work and giving and that is to preach the Gospel in every nation and to every individual.

Thank you for sharing and supporting in this last day ministry to the entire world.
