Beyond the Screen: Testimonies from SOC Online School Graduates

A graduate of the SOC Online School shares his testimony. “I just completed the School of Christ on July 3rd. I'm not sure that I can put into words the effect that it has had on my life.

I am retired, and it took me 10 months to complete the course. I forced myself to do only one lesson at a time, so that I could pray and meditate on it. Even though my desire was to see what the next lesson held.

The depth of the lessons was amazing. The lessons on The Almighty Blood, and The Holy Spirit, were my personal favorites and so thought provoking.

The power of Pastor Clenennen's preaching and teaching from many years ago, are still so prevalent to
todays society, and todays Church. In each lesson, the importance of studying the word, fasting, unity of the Church body, and especially prayer was stressed.

For many years I thought that the Lords Ministry through me was to, and for the local body. Either through teaching, preaching, or Directing of camps. But I now realize that God has called me to do many other things, like Prison/jail ministry, and even ministry in other countries.

I have always stressed to others the importance of a real relationship with Jesus. The SOC has truly cemented that in my life. I discovered that spiritual growth just happens to everyone that experiences the School. I don't think that I'll ever be through with the SOC material. I will continue to study it throughout my life.

I personally want to thank the wonderful staff. Pastor Brian, Pastor Robin, Sister Brenda, and Sister Cindy. They were all so helpful and accommodating. Each of them always showed to be Christ-like. Pastor Turnage once said, ‘We all need the Lord to shine a spotlight on our hearts and minds.’ Praise God, that's what the School did for me.
