“It Is A Good Thing To Give Thanks Unto The LORD…”

“It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High...” Psalms 92:1.

“But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord” (1 Corinthians 15:57-58).

As we have closed out the past year of 2023 and welcomed the new year of 2024, it is good to remember all the Lord has accomplished in the last year and look forward to all He will soon accomplish in the new year. I cannot help but feel overwhelmed with gratitude to the Lord for every Brother and Sister in Christ worldwide who has given their time and resources in furthering the Gospel message through the ministry of the School of Christ! As Christ Himself said, “…The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few…” it is for this reason I am beyond thankful for everyone who unselfishly has given and continues to give of themselves in carrying out this Great Commission. Your sacrifice is not in vain, and the reward of Heaven will be even more precious when we finally see the revelation of our Hope found in Jesus
Christ!

With the many challenges and difficulties this past year for everyone involved in this great Missions Ministry of the SOC, Christ has been more than sufficient to exceed and abundantly more than we could ever ask or think. As many countries were still recovering from the 2020 Worldwide Lockdowns, we faced challenges in all aspects of the ministry. However, when the Lord is leading and guiding, nothing can stand against Him.

We experienced His mighty Hand of Power in every trip our Directors and Field Workers made, and the Spirit anointed every lesson of the SOC taught. If you have ever given yourself to the mission of world evangelism, you will know that we live in a time of great spiritual weakness in the Church world. The realities of the physical life have caused many to compromise in pursuing earthly comforts over eternal rewards. Even during these trying times, God still has His remnant of men and women who have refused to accept the status quo of religiosity. In the ministry of the SOC, we have been blessed with the honor to work alongside choice Brothers and Sisters in Christ, equipping them to carry this Gospel to every creature.

As we look ahead into this new year, we are full of expectancy and a burning desire to move forward in this significant mandate from Heaven to preach the Gospel to every creature. Indeed, as the Lord tarries His coming, there is work to be done and people and nations to reach with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Our heart desires to work in this end-time harvest, gather the fruits of the labor that began over 30 years ago, and be found faithful until He calls His Church Home! To God be The Glory!
