Lives Changed During Philippine SOC
It was a blessing to have B.J. and Caleb Larsen travel to the Philippines this year with me to teach the School of Christ. Our Director over the Philippines, Brother Roland Tabilangon, and his staff scheduled a two-week SOC in Lupao, north of Manila. We had a wonderful time immersed in prayer and study of the Word of God through the lessons of the School of Christ.
On this trip, we took the opportunity to film the SOC lessons in Tagalog. Many Philippine church members understand English, but there is a real need in rural areas for lessons in their local dialects.
Many students testified at the end of this school that they had learned how to pray during these two weeks of lessons and in their time seeking the Lord in prayer. We praise the Lord for the lives that were changed, impacted, and prepared by the moving and revealing power of the Holy Spirit. If you know anything about the School of Christ, you know that prayer is not just a filler of time, but an intricate part of our class schedule. Founder B. H. Clendennen said in a lesson, “Prayer is the most powerful tool that God has given to His Church, and yet the most neglected in the entire arsenal.”
Please pray for the continued work of the SOC in the Philippines as we move forward in these last days.
