Look At What The Lord Has Done
As we stand at the threshold of a new year, my heart is drawn to the words of Joshua 3:5: “Sanctify yourselves: for tomorrow the LORD will do wonders among you.” This is not merely a verse to be admired, it is a divine call to preparation, consecration, and expectation. It is the message that must define us as we press forward.
Throughout 2025, we have been reminded that we serve the God of the miraculous, the same God who opened the Red Sea, who restored sight to the blind, who raised the dead, and who empowered the early Church to turn the world upside down. The wonders recorded in Scripture stand as eternal proof that God has worked, is working, and will continue to work on behalf of His people. And the testimonies we have received from around the world bear witness that He is still the God of wonders.
Throughout this past year, we have received reports and testimonies from around the world of hearts being transformed, captives being set free, backsliders returning to the Lord, Churches ignited with renewed fire, and believers experiencing the Baptism of the Holy Ghost for the first time! Field workers have shared of hardened men weeping under conviction, entire congregations restored to prayer, and young people surrendering to the call of God. We have heard of healings, deliverances, reconciliations, and moments when the Holy Spirit moved so powerfully that all anyone could do was to stand in awe. These are not exaggerations; they are the living evidence that the God we preach and serve is still the God who works wonders!
However, if we are to experience a greater move of God in the coming year, we must take seriously Joshua’s command to Israel: “Sanctify yourselves.” It has been said that every movement of God throughout history has been preceded by a prepared people. Pentecost came to those who waited in obedience. The great Wales Revival came through young hearts seeking God with their whole being. The dullness of ordinary religion disappears whenever you find a people who returns to the altar in complete surrender.
So, as we close this year 2025, let us give ourselves anew to the Lord. Let us lay aside every weight, and hindrance that so easily besets us. It is time to come again to the Cross, presenting our bodies as living sacrifices, wholly given to the will and purpose of God. For God’s tomorrow of wonders only waits on our today of sanctification and consecration.
To every director, field worker, and supporter: Thank you! Your faithfulness, your prayers, your sacrifices, and your unwavering commitment to the mission of the School of Christ International have allowed this message of Pentecost to reach the nations. By your continued giving and sacrifice, you are a part of preparing vessels for the final outpouring before the soon return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
As we enter a new year, may the cry of our hearts echo the conviction of Evan Roberts: “O, to be ready… and to finish the work that He gave us to do.” Let us sanctify ourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders among us!
In Christ,
Brian Larsen - SOCI President
