Look What the Lord has Done

Praise the Lord, as He has allowed us to hang up another calendar for the New Year of 2023! We are looking for Christ's soon return and believe it can be at any moment, but it is a privilege to have been given one more opportunity to reach souls in this end-time Harvest!

Last year was a year full of challenges and wonderful opportunities for the entire School of Christ International (SOC). God opened many doors of ministry for each of our Directors and Field Workers allowing them to bring this Message of Pentecost around a world recently recovering from the lockdowns of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Although there are still obstacles relating to the pandemic, the Lord has given us His favor and leading grace through every situation that has presented itself. If there is one thing I have learned in my years of ministry and service with the Soc is that nothing can hinder or limit what God has established to do through His chosen vessels. The Soc has not slowed down, nor have we stopped in the vision of Restoring the Message of Pentecost.

We are continuing to move forward with unchallenged resolve in this purpose of training and Raising ministers who will become God's choice vessels for the end-time revival! Just as Brother Clendennen, Pastor Turnage, and many others before stood true to this wonderful calling, we too are carrying the mantle of the SOC Ministry onward and upward in our generation! To God be the Glory!

As we are beginning this New Year, I cannot pass up this opportunity to express one more time my gratitude for the life and ministry of Pastor Robert Turnage. Pastor Turnage left this world for his Heavenly Homecoming in July of 2022, having run his race and finished the course. His life was without a doubt the life of a servant, and the ministry that God called him to fulfill reflected that very character. He served in the Evangelistic field, as Pastor, and in later years as the President of the SOC. We praise God for giving us such an example of faithful service and unwavering commitment to the Missions work of the SOC!

Also, I would like to thank the Staff of the SOC, each Director, Field Worker, and every one of our Supporters for your prayers during the time of transition. Your continued dedication and giving to the SOC are invaluable, and only Heaven will be able to reward you for all the work and sacrifice poured into this great Missions Ministry!
Within this January Missions Report, we have included a Year-End Review so that each of you who support us both financially and in prayer may know the impact that you are having as partners together with the SOC.

Due to the limited space, we have in our magazine, we are not able to include everything that has been done, but we have mentioned as many as possible. My prayer is that you will be encouraged by this Missions Report and know that your giving and prayers have not been in vain, but have been used in the furtherance of God's Kingdom! As I said before, each one of you is invaluable in carrying forth this great Missions Ministry to the world! I am deeply humbled and grateful that you have allowed God to burden your hearts just as He has burdened mine for this Ministry! Should Christ tarry a little longer, we are looking forward to the mighty work that He will carry out through this Ministry in the coming days!

I recently came across an interesting figure which said that the world population had reached 8 billion on November 15, 2022. What a challenge that has been presented to us as a Church! When Brother Clendennen began the SOC in 1992, the world population was at 5.5 billion, which is an increase of 2.5 billion in just over 30 years. You will see in this Missions Report that much work has been done already, but we still have much more to do until Jesus comes! So let us not get discouraged in these final days ahead, but let us put forth our hands to the plow and not look back. For it was Jesus who one day said to His disciples. "...The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers intho his harvest" (Matthew 9:37-38). May the Lord of the harvest find us faithful in the very end in preaching this Gospel to every creature.
