LOOKING BACK – LOOKING FORWARD

Romans 14:8-10, "For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's.

It started with the call of God upon pastor B. H. Clendennen to expand the mission's work into the former Soviet Union. It is a long and miraculous testimony of God's faithfulness, power, and supply over the world, the flesh, and the devil. Nothing by any means has stopped this mighty working of Almighty God.

God chose my pastor, B. H. Clendennen, to go, give guidance and say to others, as did the Apostle Paul, 1 Corinthians 11:1, "Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ." He was in every way a leader of men. Men of equal abilities and ministry gravitated to his obedience to the Lord. Together they made an unstoppable force that has impacted over 156 countries of the world. As of this writing, there is a war between Russia and Ukraine. (Only God knows the particulars of the ways and events that will constitute this war). In the end, the Will of God will be done. Pastor Clendennen and those who were his companions in the work of the ministry touched unknown multitudes in Russia and Ukraine. Not the enemy of God, no power on or in the earth can stop, steal or destroy the ministry Pastor Clendennen named the School of Christ International. The Lord said in Isaiah 55:11, "So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it." That is a part of this calling, but we are still here, knowing there is more to be done. By God's continuing help and power, "the School of Christ will be there also."

My pastor and my brothers and sisters in the ministry answered the call of God. I look at pictures in the news and see the millions from Ukraine people that are refugees, homeless, hungry, and thirsty, and I think, "I've never seen you before, or in any way had a human experience with you, but does that mean I do not know you? Do I know you because I helped finance the ones who took the Gospel to you or prayed you through to the life-changing new birth? Yes, there is a possibility in that heavenly way I know you."

God has dealt with me about discipleship. Pray with us that God will also make a way for this urgent need as we await His return.
