Mexico Continues to Train Workers

I, Pastor Victor Montoya, and my wife Maria warmly greet you in the Name of Jesus. Almost seven years God called and entrusted us to open a work called Rocío de  Hermon (Dew of Hermon) in the city of Rosarito, Mexico.

After six months of pastoring, we started teaching the School of Christ International material, founded by B. H. Clendennen. God began to add disciples, and we began to train them through these wonderful teachings.

from SOC.This training has blessed their lives, and they are abiding in Christ today. The Lord led us to open another work in the city of Culiacan, Sinaloa.

From this work, we have added three more churches: Caimancity, Navolato, Choipa Guasave, Sinaloa, and Navolato.

We pray that the Lord will help us train the disciples from these new works to fully know what the Lord wants us to do in this ministry by His Holy Ghost. This is the fourth  time we have taught we have taught the SOC since we began to walk in the True Gospel.

We learn something different every time we take these teachings. We thank the Lord for this real and radical training in our hands. We have not only learned about Christ, but we learned Christ. After going through the SOC, it changed my life. The teachings contained in this study caused me to grow Spiritually in my relationship with Christ. Everything now is different than before. I have grown as a servant of Jesus Christ and in the call given to me by God. I have grown in the wisdom and understanding of God’s Word. But above all, I have grown Spiritually.

Through the Discipleship Series, I learned so much about what the Word of God is saying. I learned what true repentance is, faith, and prayer. I learned that we could become a vessel in the hands of our Lord Jesus Christ. I have fallen in love even deeper with Christ and delight in His Word. The Holy Ghost has transformed my life, and I have grown spiritually. The training I received from the SOC School is helping me face the serious trouble I am going through, like my son’s divorce.

God allows us to go through the wilderness to draw us closer to Him, and then He sends times of refreshing. My nephew was lost, doing drugs, and he was not even able to recognize people anymore, but now God is glorified in his life.

Through prayer and fasting, God saved him. Along with the people in our church, we can see him growing, and the life of Christ is being manifested in him. I am thankful to God for all His blessings.

This is a small testimony of what our Lord Jesus Christ has done in my life through the School of Christ teachings. In September 2010, the Lord was merciful to me, and I was born again at the age of thirty-one.

He has changed my life and I am going to work for Him. I learn more everyday from these wonderful books called the School of Christ that God brought to our Rocio de Hermon Church with Pastor Victor Montoya. I am so thankful for everything the Lord is doing. God bless you for sending these lessons.
