On April 27, 2020 the School of Christ International expanded its outreach ministry to the world. It was several years in development, but it was ready in God’s perfect timing. We, in the office of this ministry, did not know that the Lord was leading our thinking and desires in preparation for this method of continuing the ongoing ministry of the School of Christ.
Pastor B. H. Clendennen was led by the Holy Spirit to found and begin this miraculous work. In December of 2009 God received the pastor into His glorious Kingdom, but that did not mean that He would not continue to be in this work and lead it by the same Holy Ghost. We, the staff, have carefully tried to be sensitive to His leadership.
We do not have planning sessions where we try to come up with some means we can add or use. We try to humbly live and do what we know is the will of God. As we abide in this place before the Lord, at His time and in His will when doors may seem to open, we give ourselves to fasting and earnest prayer that we may know if that is a door opened by God or not. We have had experiences where we felt convinced a certain direction had indeed been opened by the Lord Himself. But if we did not have the financial means or other necessities, we would just tell God we were His servants and if we were right in accepting something as His will, we would begin to act on that issue when the finances etc. were available.
It has been a few years since we first tried to initiate an on-line school. It wasn’t the right time. But NOW is the right time. No one could foresee or predict the global pandemic that has changed our way of living, at least for now. In this report you will see pictures of the first graduating class of the on-line school. We currently have students from 35 nations. That is a miracle.
The closing of nations, gatherings and travel has not prevented God from fulfilling His Word. He only needs a people that will believe Him, not be distracted by other happenings, and allow Him, through them, to do what no power can stop or defeat. The Apostle Paul tells us exactly what the world is experiencing. In Romans 8:22-23, he wrote, “For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ours.” Be faithful to live, believe and support the Gospel. We are at the end of our labors.
