I thank God for His immeasurable love for our great nation, the United States of America. He has fulfilled every promise He ever made to this people. He continues to love us and will continue to keep and bless us as long as we follow Him. But His continued blessing is according to obedience and overcoming every venomous satanic attacks. People who are bitten by snakes are generally not aware the serpent is present. Thus, the bite and the poison is injected with its damage and death when it is to late for help and or recovery.

Ecclesiastes 10:8 says “He that diggeth a pit shall fall into it; and whoso breaketh an hedge, a serpent shall bite him.” What is a hedge? In Scripture it means “...that which surrounds or encloses...” As a nation we have always trusted in God for our protection and defense. He has been our hedge. We have believed His promise from Deuteronomy 28:7 “The Lord shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways.” Amen!

The Bible speaks of a “...space to repent.” In 2 Chronicles 36 God gave a sinful nation of Israel a space to repent after they rejected God, but they did not repent. In the book of Jonah gave Nineveh a space to repent. These two events reveal the forbearance of the Father. God has graciously granted America, and the world, a space to repent.

Remember Ecclesiastes 10:8 that says “He that diggeth a pit shall fall into it; and whoso breaketh an hedge, a serpent shall bite him... (them).” It’s time for Christian believers to fast and pray for our great land. God hears and answers prayer. Pray for Godly conviction that will lead this nation and world to humble repentance. We need to repent for breaking down our protective hedge through our indifference to God and going away from His Word and ways. May God have mercy on nations and peoples and save lost souls.
