Prayer Request for Venezuela
The conditions in Venezuela are not getting any better, and people are starving. A report in the Wall Street Journal states that “13% of children under five are stunted from lack of nutritious food, and this oil-rich nation is on the verge of an irreversible catastrophe.”
Five years ago, I felt the Lord impress upon me to begin new church planting in unreached areas of Venezuela a priority because there would come a time when we would be unable to work. The pastors working with the SOC are very dedicated, and the churches that we have planted are a witness for Christ. Thank God for the training of the School of Christ International that makes disciples who are strong, faithful, and stand on the firm foundation of Christ. Pastors and workers in Venezuela have specifically asked that we pray for their strength. They say their greatest desire is “not to be delivered but that they would remain faithful to God in these challenging times.”
Keep the Venezuelan Pastors, Workers, and Christians in your prayers as they bring the saving knowledge of Christ to a lost and hurting nation.
