SOC Bulgaria: A Continuing Journey

Our visit to Bulgaria began with ministering in two separate churches, where we witnessed the lost being saved, the sick being healed, and many being filled with the Holy Spirit.

There were young people in the service who did not speak English but testified that the Spirit helped them understand every Word that was preached. There is such an incredible hunger for the Lord in Bulgaria. I believe that the Lord is bringing men and women together across this land who are hungry for Christ.

We met a pastor who graduated from the SOC in 1998 when Brother Clendennen, founder of the School of Christ International, came to teach at the Bulgarian School. He was happy to show us his certificate. He was such a blessing to us while we were there. In the mountains of Bulgaria, the Lord came down and made Himself very real to each of us. It was truly a powerful time in the Lord. The Lord is bringing men and women together across these lands who are bound together in Christ. There was such a spirit of revival among the Bulgarian Christian people.

Thank you for your prayers as we held the School of Christ International Summit in Bulgaria, a biblical region in Macedonia—pastors from all over Bulgaria and as far away as Germany were in attendance. The first SOC was taught in Bulgaria over twenty-five years ago, and those seeds have grown in incredible ways.

The School of Christ is not a physical location, but a spiritual process. It is not an institution, but an internal transformation. It does not start with registration, but with repentance. It does not end with a diploma, but with a cross. In this School, the Teacher is not a man, but the Eternal Teacher - Christ, the Son of the living God. There are no auditoriums, but deserts. There is no applause, but exams in the secret place. This School does not build a career, but the image of Christ in us. The School of Christ does not fill you with information but with revelation. There you learn not just truths, but you know the Truth. In the SOC, you don't just read the Bible - the Bible begins reading you. You don't just listen to the Word - the Word starts to change you on the inside. If you want to become a true disciple of Christ, go to this School.

There you will cry, repent, build yourself, but come out changed. Let us not settle for superficial faith, but seek the depth in Christ, where the character of the King is built in the hearts of His servants. Doors have opened through these meetings, allowing us to continue reaching Bulgaria and beyond with the School of Christ.
