We are very grateful to God for the privilege of being part of the School of Christ International and witnessing lives being changed in Liberia through the introduction of SOCI.

Liberia is a country on the West Coast of Africa founded by free people of color from the United States. History records show that of 4,571 emigrants who arrived in Liberia between 1820 and 1843, only 1,819 survived. After many years of enjoying the freedom of peace and unity, the civil war started, and it was one of Africa’s bloodiest wars. From 1989 to 1996, it claimed the lives of more than 200,000 Liberians. The war displaced another million Liberians worldwide, such as my wife and I, and we have lived in the United States of America for over 32 years. It is an honor to bring such a powerful School of Christ to our people who have impacted our ministry and lives over the years.

In a time when Muslims and other religions are trying to dominate Christianity, it is time for us to work overtime for the Lord. Our goal is to train workers and pastors in every county and village in Liberia. We are very thankful for being able to overcome every hindrance that stood before us in the process of launching the School of Christ  here in Liberia.

We thank God for His faithfulness in every process that we went through. Liberia has surely been longing for a genuine School of Ministry with such powerful revelation and the SOCI does bear witness to the True Light. Teaching the School of Christ in Monrovia was very exciting.

When the announcement was made, and people began to call and register, they could not believe that the SOCI had completely paid for the tuition, lodging, and meals.

We witnessed a real pouring out of the Holy Spirit in the morning prayer meetings. Sometimes the prayer meeting would last for almost an hour and a half. You could feel the presence of God as the students were worshiping and being blessed. Word spread all over the community of the intensity of prayer and worship.

The wife of a former president of Liberia, Her excellency Mrs. Nattie Blahe, heard about the School of Christ coming to Liberia and sent her pastor to attend. He encountered a genuine move of God at the School, and she informed us that he was on fire the first Sunday he was back at their church. His message and delivery were different, and people were filled with the Holy Ghost. She attended two classes herself and was very excited about the School. She also attended the graduation service.

Thirty-two students were registered to attend the SOCI. Seven could not finish because of family emergencies, but twenty-five students graduated. The classes and prayer went from 6 am to 6:30 pm every day. We have many areas in Liberia waiting for us to bring the SOCI so they can attend. Pastors are yearning for the Schools to go to various countries in Africa. While visiting the state of Abuja in Nigeria, we introduced the SOCI, and now they are waiting on us to run a School there. We are very excited about the various opportunities opening for the School of Christ in Africa. I am very grateful for my wife who works beside me and supports the School of Christ 100%.

Keep the work of Liberia and the surrounding areas in prayer as we go forward with the work God has called us to do through the School of Christ International.

Testimonies from the Liberian School:
“The truth here is, before attending the School of Christ International, my understanding of the Bible regarding questions that I have struggled with were answered after carefully listening to the teachings of Pastor B.H Clendennen. I now have a beautiful experience and sound understanding after my graduation from the School of Christ, I am very confident in what I have learned. I believe that my doubts and fears are gone. I believe that I can be a great help to others that are having the same problems that I had before sitting under the teaching of Pastor B. H. Clendennen coming from Muslim background.” Pastor John Kemokai

Well, I will first thank God and the School of Christ for the great knowledge I was imparted with. It was a wonderful opportunity to be gathered as a Christian family to learn the true Word of God together here in Liberia.” Sis. Evangeline
