SOC Mongolia: A Return to Their First Love

I have taught the School of Christ many times; usually, the first few days are needed so that the students can understand the essence of the training. The School of Christ is deep not in theology, but in dedication and spiritual life. However, after the first lessons, the pastor and many students told me that they needed this teaching because Christ is at the center, and this is what they were looking for.

The School of Christ ran a School in this exact location eleven years ago. A few of the people who studied at the SOC held in Murun, Mongolia, earlier were there, but most of the students were being trained for the first time.

The testimonies from that first School were amazing. Graduates went to remote areas of Mongolia as missionaries, and the Lord used them to plant new churches. They have now returned to go through the SOC again to renew their spiritual life and learn more about Christ.

The lessons were easy to teach because the students were eager to learn. There was such an atmosphere of the Holy Spirit from the very beginning. You could see the Holy Spirit working in the lives of the forty students who attended this School. They testified that the SOC taught them to pray. They did not have individual prayer time before; they only prayed at church. They testified that the Holy Spirit convicted them of sin in their lives that they had lived with for years. For example, they received great conviction after the lesson "The Convicting Work of the Holy Spirit," where the Holy Spirit convicted the students that they had hatred for other brothers and sisters. They prayed and asked God for forgiveness and then reconciled with the people they hated.

The convicting work of God was felt many times during the School. Students testified that they had returned to their first love for Christ. Praise the Lord that through the School of Christ, there has been an awakening in the lives of pastors and workers here in Mongolia.

Many thanks to all who support the ministry of the School of Christ in prayer and finances. Praise God for His work through the School of Christ!
