SOC Nicaragua: A Call to Discipleship
There is no greater grace than that which has been given to us in Christ Jesus and His call to go and make disciples. Since 2007, the School of Christ has not stopped working in Nicaragua.
I am pleased to share that we held two graduation ceremonies in 2025. We are running three new Schools this year, with two of them being held in Managua, the capital.
It is wonderful to see how the Lord is using this excellent tool, the School of Christ, to train the sixty new students. On July 24th, we held our pastoral conference entitled "Knowing the Times," as we gathered in the presence of the Almighty God. It was a time of fasting, prayer, and being in the presence of the Holy Spirit.
We held several different pastoral conferences in various parts of the country. The Caribbean region pastors had to take a boat and travel up to six hours through Rio Coco and then travel for eighteen hours to reach the city of Tipitapa, where the conference was being held. Richard Goebel, SOC Director, traveled from Pennsylvania to bring the message to the hungry pastors. They were convicted to once again return to the Scriptures and see for ourselves where we are in the endtime. These were moments filled with great brokenness at the altar while we waited on our knees before the Lord.
Carrying out this event requires much prayer and fasting. In addition, preparation entails a great deal of work before the event, and this requires the care we must take due to the governmental context we experience in the country. But when we hear the testimonies and see for ourselves how the Word deals with their heart, we feel well rewarded by heaven itself.
The pastors who attended testified that this time of pastoral congress brought great spiritual refreshment to their lives, and they received strength through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Thank you for your prayers and contributions to this great work of the School of Christ in this part of the world. The work in Nicaragua is not the work of one man alone; rather, it is the work of all of us involved in one way or another.
Thank you once again for being a part of this.
