SOCI Asia: Faith Under Fire

On my way to Cambodia from Mongolia, I stopped to visit a Bible School for young people in Kunming Province, China.

This Bible School is for children of pastors, and I conducted a two-day seminar teaching the Holy Spirit series from the School of Christ International. There were 17 students in the Bible School, and over 20 people were watching the seminar online. The Holy Spirit was working in the hearts of the students.

The leaders said they desperately needed to hear the teaching on  the Holy Spirit because they had never heard such teaching before.

They requested that I come in March 2026 and conduct a full School of Christ School. They are going to invite other churches and leaders to join in the full time School as well. The persecution of the Church in China right now is severe.

Christians are not allowed to  gather in large numbers.  Currently, believers in China gather in small groups of about ten people. For safety reasons, we held the seminar far outside of the city. Everyone who attended the seminar, whether in person or online, testified that they were greatly blessed by the teaching.
