SOCI Canada: New Doors and Divine Appointments
I want to express my sincere gratefulness and appreciation for the prayers and financial support throughout this past incredibly blessed year, 2025. It brought many blessings and adjustments to my ministry.
Despite the passing of our dear Brother Somchai, coworker for over 29 years, and the ongoing war in Myanmar/Burma, God’s plan was that we would continue the work in Southeast Asia. What a successful year it has been. We reached many with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and new doors have opened not only in Thailand but also in Malaysia and Canada.
I was invited to participate in the revival services and the School of Christ International graduation service for the Zoom School, in Leamington, located about 45 minutes southeast of Detroit, MI, and just outside Windsor, Ontario, Canada. In the four-day revival conference and SOCI graduation, we witnessed a real move of the Holy Spirit.
I was glad to visit Detroit again and see my cousin and childhood friends. I needed to schedule an Uber to pick me up at the airport. I scheduled it for Saturday, but on Friday, I received a call from my driver saying she would pick me up in 30 minutes. I called and informed her of the mistake, and she said no problem, she would pick me up the next day. When she picked me up, I began to share with her about the Lord. She seemed enthusiastic and very interested. I asked her if she was a Christian, and she said no. I continued to witness to her the rest of our trip. She asked where I was going next, and I told her I would be traveling to Windsor. She quickly replied that she had a passport and would drive me there. I told her OK, but I forgot to ask the price. I received a price of $250 from another company. I texted her, and she quoted me $80. She saved me $170. What started out as a problem turned into a blessing!
