SOCI PERU: FIRE IN THE HIGH COUNTRY. THE UNSHAKABLE FOUNDATION OF GOD

“But the solid foundation of God stands firm, having this seal The Lord knows those who are His, and, Let everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity.” 2 Timothy 2:19

What a profound truth is found in this Scripture: “The foundation of God stands firm.” I am deeply convinced of this great truth that the message of Pentecost is central to the Church in this time. If we are to see the Church advance in the Kingdom of God, we must carry this Message of the School of Christ International to every place the Holy Spirit sends us.

As I observe the fruit of our labor, I am certain that He has sent us to Peru to continue the work of the Kingdom of God that began 30 years ago with Pastor Clendennen in Huánuco. This School of Christ held in Huánuco brought blessing to the entire Body of Christ throughout Latin America.

Pastor Clendennen recorded this school in Spanish, and I believe it is the best edition we have. This has been my fourth trip to Peru. It is wonderful to see how God is working in the southern region of Peru, in the cities of Pisco and Chincha Baja. It is truly remarkable to witness how lives are being transformed. We have completed two more schools and are currently coordinating a new School of Christ in Huancayo, in the Junín region of
central Peru. We trust that these schools will continue to bring glory and honor to the name of the Lord God Almighty.

Testimony: Sister Rosa Rubiños, daughter of Pastor Jorge Rubiños, upon hearing about the School of Christ training, traveled from Lima to attend the School in Pisco. While she was being confronted by the Word, she fell under conviction of sin as she heard about the power of the blood of Christ and what hinders its flow.

She cried out for mercy in prayer and later testified how her life was transformed by the power of the Word. After completing and graduating from the School of Christ, Sister Rosa returned to Lima and told her father, “I have already registered you for the next School of Christ in Pisco.” Pastor Rubiños responded that he did not have time to attend. However, his daughter made it very clear that it was God’s will for him to attend the School of Christ. She added, “When you reach the series ‘The Almighty Blood,’ you will call me—and I will be waiting for that call.” He eventually attended the School to receive the training, and when he reached the series on “The Blood,” Pastor Jorge Rubiños’ heart was broken to the point of repentance. He then remembered his daughter’s words and called her to ask for forgiveness, as well as seeking forgiveness from the entire family.

Glory to God for this power that works in hearts that are open to the Word in the School of Christ.
