The Faithfulness Of God
In Numbers 23:19, Balaam says of God keeping His Word, "God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?" Then we are told in 1 Peter 2:21 (Christ) "…leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps." Being in the likeness of Christ and bearing His character, we should share that same testimony.
One commentator said, "Faithfulness comes from a place of trust and loyalty. Hebrews 11:1 says, ‘Now faith is a confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.’ For example, we can be loyal in our relationships here on Earth and truly love others. Faithfulness requires us to submit our ways to God.”
The commentator continues by saying, "What are the Characteristics of Faithfulness? Loyalty is a Characteristic of Faithfulness; Trustworthiness is a Characteristic of Faithfulness; Steadfast Love is a Characteristic of Faithfulness; Patience is a Characteristic of Faithfulness; Commitment is a Characteristic of Faithfulness; God was Faithful to Abraham.'"
The foremost human in the Bible to display extreme loyalty was Jesus Christ. He always held strictly and firmly to God’s law.
We are called to be new creatures in Christ, and that new creation is demonstrated as an unswerving allegiance, especially to God.
As a pastor, our financing of new projects, repairs, etc., was based on promises to support such efforts by people in the church. Most everyone could be counted on because of their history of honoring their prior commitments. But, ongoing work could be more challenging. Many circumstances could interrupt the best-intentioned supporters. God works His wonders to perform. His Will and Work will be completed.
The School of Christ is supported and has a 30-year history of successfully taking the Gospel to millions in more than 156 nations of the world. Every penny of support and the testimony of every answered prayer has been successful because, through the years, God has had access to monies given by supporters who will never meet the people who were helped.
I ask you to prayerfully become a supporter of the School of Christ International. Let us know how you can help with this burden. Then faithfully be like others supporting this ministry now in the end-time.
