Even with the Covid-19 crisis that has closed down the public schools, cut domestic travel, closed restaurants and concert halls, we were able to run a complete three-week School of Christ in Karelia, Russia. With twenty-five students in attendance from different areas of Russia, we were able to study seven lessons a day. Student’s hearts were stirred to take up the task of carrying the Gospel of Jesus to their nation and surrounding countries.

Igor Tsyupak, the first
Russian employed by
Brother Clendennen in 1991,
teaching and ministering at
the SOC in Karelia, Russia.

We were blessed to have Igor Tsyupak minister two days at the School, sharing stories about the late Founder and President B. H. Clendennen and the Moscow Schools. Igor Tsyupak, a minister and pastor, was the interpreter for Brother Clendennen on his first trip to Russia in October, 1991. God spoke to Brother Clendennen’s heart to go to Russia and train leaders and workers as he witnessed the great hunger for the True Gospel. He immediately hired Brother Tsyupak to recruit students and find a place to house the SOC. What a blessing Brother Tsyupak has been and continues to be to the School of Christ International.

Pray for Russia’s work as we continue to go forward with training workers for Christ through the SOC teachings.
